I started taking pictures at a young age thanks to incredibly supportive grandparents. My Grandpa Nancy and Grandpa Leroy gave me my first camera, took me to photography classes and then took me to their cabin in the Boundary Waters every summer to go "Moose Hunting", which was us driving around and taking pictures of moose! I was also very fortunate to go to high school where they offered photography classes and a 2 week course where we just hiked the Superior Hiking Trail.
